THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO SCHOOL OF LAW invites applications for a full-time, tenured or tenure-track faculty position in its Economic Justice Clinic (EJC) beginning Fall 2020. Academic rank and salary will depend on experience and qualifications.

EJC works to reduce structural inequality and promote equitable economic development in low-income communities through direct representation of individuals and legal support for community-based organizing efforts in the areas of workers’ rights, housing, and grassroots entrepreneurship. This position involves teaching primarily in the clinical law program, with opportunities to teach elsewhere in the curriculum. Clinic faculty supervise students in all aspects of direct client representation and community-based projects, and teach clinical skills classes.
