Barry University School of Law is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Director of Multiple-Choice Initiatives and CLASP Counselor. This position plays a vital role in supporting students from the time they matriculate through their admission to the bar.
The primary focus of this role is to enhance students’ learning and study skills, with a particular emphasis on developing and managing all multiple-choice components of bar preparation. The Director will lead initiatives and programs designed to improve student performance on the bar exam and contribute to their overall academic success.
Essential Duties include individual academic counseling, oversight of multiple-choice and bar grading initiatives, scholarship, serving on faculty committees, and supporting assessment efforts by collecting and analyzing student performance data in alignment with ABA standards.
Qualifications / Requirements
JD from an ABA accredited law school, admission to a state bar, and strong academic records. 3-5 years of related work experience; legal work experience in private practice, non-profit organizations, government, corporate, or judicial clerkship preferred. At least one year experience teaching legal writing/legal methods or working in academic support and/or counseling law students from diverse backgrounds.
