University of South Carolina Rice School of Law - Assistant Director / Staff Attorney - Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA RICE SCHOOL OF LAW seeks applicants for an Assistant Director / Staff Attorney in its Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. Under the supervision of the Faculty Director of the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC), the Taxpayer Staff Attorney manages legal representation, including administrative disputes with the IRS, litigation in Tax Court and Federal courts, and other taxpayer education and advocacy for LITC client cases and other legal matters. They provide legal services to LITC clients while collaborating with clinic faculty, paralegals, staff, and students. The LITC Staff Attorney will also participate in outreach, client development efforts, and taxpayer education for underserved communities.
