University of Wyoming College of Law-Civil Legal Services Clinic-Assistant Professor/Clinic Director
Qualifications and Duties: The University of Wyoming College of Law invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. We welcome applications from qualified candidates to direct our Civil Legal Services Clinic. The Civil Legal Services Clinic has historically focused on a broad range of civil legal services addressing the unmet legal needs of low-income people in the state, including, but not limited to, housing and consumer debt. The successful candidate for this clinical position will teach a course load that includes supervising law students in the clinic, as well as two additional courses to be negotiated upon receiving an offer.
Candidates must be licensed attorneys, hold a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school, and have a willingness to become a member of the Wyoming Bar. A commitment to teaching, service, and scholarship at a university level and strong communication skills are required. The University of Wyoming College of Law has a unitary tenure track and does not distinguish between clinical and doctrinal professors.
