Joseph Singleton (St. Thomas) will be joining the faculty as an Assistant Professor. Professor Singleton will be designing a new Medical-Legal Partnership clinic.

Juan Ramos (St. Thomas) will be joining the faculty as a Clinical Professor. Professor Ramos will be designing a new Small Business & Transactional clinic.

Corina Bogaciu (Cardozo) joined the law school as Assistant Director of Field Placement Programs.

Denise Mayo Harle (FSU) has joined the faculty as the founding Director of FSU Law's new First Amendment Clinic.

Eryn Lyle (SMU) has joined the faculty at the law school as a Homestead Preservation Attorney.

Amanda Savage (Denver) has joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor and Director of the Criminal Defense Clinic.

Kelly Caldwell (Denver) has joined the law school as a Christopher N. Lasch Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Criminal Defense Clinic.

Jack Hathaway (Denver) has joined the law school as a Christopher N. Lasch Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Immigration Law & Policy Clinic.

Megan Toomer (Denver) has joined the law school as a Christopher N. Lasch Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Civil Rights Clinic.

Emely Mier (Denver) has joined the law school as an Administrative Assistant in the Student Law Office.

Emily Robin Griffith (Berkeley) has joined the Environmental Law Clinic as a clinical supervising attorney. Griffith's practice centers on federal enforcement, climate justice, and the intersection of environmental health and human rights. She served as an Assistant Regional Counsel at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9 handling complex litigation under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act and the Oil Pollution Act, including serving in the incident command for major wildfires and humanitarian disaster response.

Concurrently, Griffith is an Adjunct Professor at UC Law San Francisco, where she teaches Climate Justice and Environmental Advocacy. Her work has contributed to national environmental justice and climate initiatives, and has been nationally recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice. She earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Sustained by California’s open horizons—from the coast to the Sierra —she maintains a deep commitment to integrated practice.

Marcela E. von Vacano (Berkeley) has joined the Environmental Law Clinic as deputy director. During her twenty-seven years at EPA Region 9, von Vacano collaborated with inspectors, scientists, community stakeholders, and industry attorneys, while coordinating with DOJ, States, and Tribes. She litigated judicial and administrative matters before the EPA Environmental Appeals Board, U.S. District Courts, the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Her advocacy secured safe drinking water in California's Central Valley, a $4 million conservation easement for The Nature Conservancy, reduced transboundary pollution at the Tijuana border, and protections for endangered species. At the Clinic, she continues advocating for public health, Tribes, and underrepresented communities, driven by her experience as a political refugee and mother.

Stefano Moscato (UC Law San Francisco), a longtime member of the doctrinal faculty, has joined the clinical program teaching in the Individual Representation Clinic.

Alexis Ballinger (UC Law San Francisco) is a new staff attorney in the Individual Representation Clinic.

Steven Bonorris (UC Law San Francisco), a longtime member of the doctrinal faculty, has joined the clinical program teaching in the Legislation Clinic.

Jonathan Abel (UC Law San Francisco), a longtime member of the doctrinal faculty, has joined the clinical program teaching in the Immigrants' Rights Clinic.

Kyle S. Clauss (Cornell) is the First Amendment Clinic’s new Local Journalism Fellow. Previously, he worked as a journalist and as an attorney in local government, legal services, and private practice, and as a judicial clerk. Kyle is an alumnus of Boston University and Vermont Law School.

Joseph Gallagher (Cornell) was recently appointed the First Amendment Clinic's Local Government Project Attorney. Joseph's background is in local government and election law. Joseph is a graduate of University of Michigan Law School, Yale University School of Drama, and City University of New York.

Conley Wouters (Vermont) will join VLGS as the new Director of the Farmed Animal Advocacy Clinic. Professor Wouters brings many years of litigation and teaching experience, along with a deep commitment to advancing the field of animal law. His current research focuses on legal storytelling and Animal Law.

Christopher Worth (Vermont) joined the Center for Justice Reform Clinic, bringing years of experience practicing immigration law and expanding the Clinic’s capacity to serve the region’s immigrant communities.

Catie Knight Holcroft (Vermont) joined the Center for Justice Reform Clinic as an EJW Fellow, with a focus on representing survivors of human trafficking.

Lindi von Mutius (Vermont) joined the Environmental Justice Clinic as a Visiting Professor of Law, handling cases related to waste, biofuels, and toxics.

Letícia Felix Boisson (Vermont) joined the school as an LLM Fellow in Energy Justice, working with both the Institute for Energy and the Environment and the Environmental Justice Clinic in collaboration with Brown University School of Public Health on template Good Neighbor Agreements for communities impacted by wood pellet manufacturing.

Gabriella Miller (Vermont) joined the Veterans Legal Assistant Project of the South Royalton Legal Clinic as a Fellow, following her graduation from Vermont Law & Graduate School last year.

Katie Taylor (Suffolk) joined Suffolk Law’s Clinical Programs as Programs Manager. She brings her skills as an administrator and Social Worker to lead our program and professional skill development, as well as advance technological skills to improve our administration and systems.

Kyra DeTone (Suffolk) joined Suffolk Law’s Center for Housing Justice & Policy Clinic as a Clinical Fellow. She has represented survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking and contributed to policy and advocacy projects focused on improving access to justice and public education.

Rajeswari Pedaballi (Suffolk) joined the LIT Lab in March 2026 as a DevOps Engineer and Clinical Fellow. At the Lab, she focuses on Docassemble server infrastructure and automation tooling to improve the scalability and reliability of access-to-justice tools used by legal organizations and courts.

Laura Possessky (Suffolk) will lead the remote Intellectual Property & Entrepreneurship Clinic. She most recently served as Vice President, Business Affairs and Assistant General Counsel at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, where she managed legal affairs for public media funding projects including Sesame Street, Frontline, and PBS NewsHour.

Brenda J. Gohr (Georgia) has joined the School of Law as the new director of the Veterans Legal Clinic. In addition to more than 15 years of military service in the U.S. Air Force, Gohr most recently served as of counsel for The Veteran’s Advocate and operated her own legal practice specializing in veteran and military law.

Nicholas Dashman (Harvard) joined the Transactional Law Clinics as a Clinical Instructor.

Rachel Zacharias (Harvard) joined the Health Law and Policy Clinic as a Clinical Fellow.

Bruce Hamilton (Tulane) has joined the law school faculty as Clinical Associate Professor of Law and Director of the First Amendment Clinic.

Jared Miller (Tulane) has joined the law school faculty as Clinical Assistant Professor of Law in the Civil Rights & Federal Practice Clinic

Jessica Wood (Tulane) has joined the law school faculty as Clinical Assistant Professor of Law in the Domestic Violence Clinic.

Tasia Kastanek (Tulane) joins the law school faculty as Clinical Assistant Professor of Law in the Environmental Law Clinic in July 2026.

Francesca Buzzi (Tulane) joins the law school faculty as Clinical Assistant Professor of Law in the Women’s Prison Project in July 2026.

Larisa G. Bowman (Quinnipiac) has joined the faculty as Assistant Professor of Law. With extensive experience and expertise in housing law and policy, Professor Bowman will be working on housing justice through the Civil Justice Clinic at Quinnipiac.

Alberto Vargas (UIC Law) has joined the Community Enterprise & Solidarity Economy Clinic as a Staff Attorney.

Mariah Garcia (UIC Law) has joined the Pro Bono Litigation Clinic as a Staff Attorney.
