The University of Alabama Law Clinics is happy to announce the rescheduled Southern regional conference  to be held in Tuscaloosa on August 4 and 5.   We will continue most of the line-up, and best of all, we will have opportunities to meet, collaborate and grow as professionals. Thank you to all of the presenters who have been able to commit to the new time frame, and of course, we will miss those of you who cannot.  In addition, we will expand the planned session on The Role of the Law School Clinic in Disaster Response: A Call to Action presented by JoNel Newman, University of Miami, and Davida Finger, Loyola University, into a plenary session on Friday.  We hope clinicians from all across the country, and particularly from the hard-hit Southern region, will benefit from this session.

Please consider joining us from wherever you are located.  We've kept registration reasonable and there is inexpensive on-campus housing, so even if your travel budget has taken a beating, we hope you can join us.  Thanks to the planning committee of Bob Lancaster (LSU), Alex Scherr (Georgia), Wendy Bach (Tennessee), D'lorah Hughes (Arkansas) and Davida Finger (Loyola New Orleans).  Contact any one of us if you have questions. More information and registration materials can be found on the law school website at http://www.law.ua.edu/scc
