ALBANY LAW SCHOOL, in New York’s sought-after Capital District, invites applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for several faculty positions beginning in July 2023. We value diversity and seek applicants from backgrounds that add to a community that aims to foster respect and inclusion.   • Trusts & Estates
  • Contracts and Commercial Law
  • Clinical (Intimate Partner/ Domestic Violence Litigation specifically)
  • Introduction to Lawyering

As part of our unitary tenure system, tenure-track opportunities are available across all positions.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a J.D. degree (or the equivalent) and should have a record of academic excellence, substantial academic or practice experience, a passion for teaching, service, and a record of, or potential for, accomplishment in scholarship. Appointment rank will be determined commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
