UNIVERSITY OF IOWA COLLEGE OF LAW is hiring a Clinical Professor or a Clinical Associate Professor in the clinical program.

The University of Iowa College of Law invites applicants for two faculty positions in the law school’s in-house, live-client clinical program. We desire candidates with the experience and expertise to build-on the strengths of the clinic and/or to broaden our clinical offerings.

Consistent with the mission and responsibilities of a top-tier public research university, we seek candidates who are experienced attorneys and teachers, and who will participate in the intellectual life of the college through scholarship, advocacy or community engagement.  In addition, we desire candidates with a demonstrated ability to uphold a standard of cultural competence and respect for difference consistent with the College of Law’s commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Candidates must have: a J.D.; experience in teaching law to students, attorneys or other adult learners; and three years of law-related experience (with a minimum of two years of practice experience). Candidates must be admitted to the Iowa Bar or be eligible for admission without examination.
