THE UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING COLLEGE OF LAW invites applications for a full-time faculty position. This position will be tenure-track with duties commencing in the fall of 2018. For this position, we are seeking an entry-level or pre-tenure lateral professor to direct the law school’s Defender Aid Clinic and teach some or all of the following: criminal law, criminal procedure, criminal adjudication, and/or special issues in criminal justice. The College of Law is particularly interested in applicants anchored in criminal practice, trial and appellate advocacy, and/or skills training. This position will be a joint appointment with the University of Wyoming Department of Criminal Justice requiring the successful applicant to teach at least one criminal justice course to undergraduate and/or graduate level students. Applicants for this position should hold a J.D. degree from an accredited law school, have distinguished academic credentials, relevant legal experience, and a commitment to experiential learning, as well as a demonstrated commitment to outstanding teaching, research, and scholarship at a university level.
